Simcoe GenerLink is the GenerLink installation arm of a licensed, insured Ontario electrical contractor, based and working right here in Simcoe County. GenerLink is what we do, not a side service, and every install is done to current Ontario code.
Simcoe GenerLink is run by [OWNER NAME], a licensed electrician with [X] years in the trade and [###]+ GenerLink installs across the region. [One or two sentences of background that build trust, for example what brought him into electrical work and into GenerLink specifically.]
We started focusing on GenerLink for a simple reason. After storms like the March 2025 ice storm, homeowners across Barrie, Orillia, Oro-Medonte and the surrounding townships were left without power for days. Many had a portable generator sitting in the garage but no safe, legal way to connect it to the house. A GenerLink solves that, and getting it installed properly means hiring a licensed contractor who knows the current ESA rules. That's us.
We're licensed and insured, our installs meet current Ontario code, and our ECRA/ESA licence number is 7015214. Because we're local, we know the utilities, the rural feeders, and the storms, and we handle the ESA notification and utility coordination so you don't have to. If you want the full legal picture, we lay it out on our GenerLink legality page.
A licensed ESA electrical contractor, ECRA/ESA #7015214, with every install done to current Ontario code.
GenerLink is our focus, not an occasional add-on. We know the product, the models, and the install inside out.
We live and work here, so we know the local utilities, the rural feeders, and the storms that knock out power.
We file the ESA notification, coordinate the meter pull with your utility, and fully test the unit before we leave.
Tell us a bit about your home and we'll confirm your utility's process and get you a clear, all-in quote. No pressure, no obligation.
